Your career as a dental assistant or dental hygienist at Dental21

You will independently perform professional teeth cleanings (PTC), advise patients on oral hygiene, and specifically address misaligned teeth. You will build your own patient base and also provide preventative care for children. Additionally, you will perform basic diagnostic procedures. You will document your work in accordance with regulations, adhere to hygiene guidelines, and use the equipment under supervision.

You build upon your experience: In addition to professional teeth cleaning, bleaching, supportive periodontal therapy (SPT) monitoring, and individualized prophylaxis plans are part of your daily routine. You analyze risks systematically and provide holistic care for your patients – even in more complex cases. You conduct structured medical histories, consider relevant risk factors such as smoking status or diabetes, and manage your procedures safely and independently.

You will independently perform periodontal treatments, including the care of complex periodontitis patients and the planning of individualized supportive periodontal therapy (SPT) programs. You will develop oral health concepts, provide professional mentoring to junior colleagues, and assume responsibility for the overall prophylaxis strategy of the practice. You will work closely and collaboratively with the dental team – for example, in periodontal consultations. You will proactively implement new concepts, manage your own area of expertise, and ensure quality and continuous improvement in daily practice.

You will introduce new colleagues to the region, be responsible for quality standards in the area of prophylaxis, and work closely with the dental management. As a specialist and strategic contact person, you will further develop concepts, manage processes, and take on key tasks such as leading the dental hygienists or quality management. You will monitor relevant quality indicators such as recall and supportive care (SPT) rates and actively contribute to practice strategy and patient satisfaction.
